We had a rough 36 hours - the tank ran out of oil and when they came to fill it, the 'adjustment' resulted in the furnace kicking out around 5pm. Which made for a cold house, since the wind was sucking away any last remnants of heat. It made me miss living in brick buildings, since this is the first place I've ever lived that has no brick whatsoever.
So, we put on fleecy jammies, had a warm drink, and went to bed early. And the landlord opened a can of whoopass and the service guy came at 11:30pm. This morning we were back to being all warm and toasty.
Today is the last day of work, and I'm not sure how consistent blogging will be. I have to come in two days next week to take care of stuff, so that might work out.
If not, Merry Christmas to all! Hope Santa is good to you :-)
