I KiP'd

For the first time, I participated in World Wide Knit in Public Day :-) Hubby and I gathered up the baby and went to the little Italian grocer/cafe around the corner... They have picnic tables, so I had a sandwich and a drink, and handed the baby to Hub so I could knit on my clapotis. No pictures to prove it, but it was a very enjoyable afternoon. Unfortunately, though, I realized that at the rate I'm going, this thing won't be finished until well into 2009. I'm hoping things will get easier ;-)

Working my first *real* summer job after finishing my second year of undergrad

• Build our first house, with my dream custom kitchen and a huge craft/hobby room for myself

• Put enough away so my baby can go to whatever college he wants, live in a good apartment without nasty college roommates, and drive a reliable car
